LBM KickStarter project has been a great success, achieving over 300%
funding! The next few months will be very busy here at AudioSmile while
the LBM is bought to life. After the KickStarter pledges have been

It has been a while since the last update, but thing have actually been
rather busy at AudioSmile. I can now announce two new products! The Kensai
MKII and the Little British Monitor (LBM). The LBM is an incredible and tiny
desktop speaker that will be launching through Kickstart this weekend.

It is a great pleasure to announce the unveiling of a new product - the

AudioSmile has just got back from exhibiting at the National Audio
Show, where we were showing the new Advantage upgrade for the Kensai
and searching for dealers to stock the brand. I hope to have some news
on this in the weeks to follow.

The modification service AudioSmile has been offering for the Behringer
DEQ, DCX and SRC has now been moved to a new sub-business called
Behringer-Mods. New upgraded modification options are now available
that take the quality to an extremely high level.
It is well and truly time for an update on the website! The Kensai page
now has a new look, and more information on what makes the speaker
design so special.
AudioSmile's Kensai is currently featured in the November issue of
Hi-Fi World as part of David Price's choice system recommendation
pairing the Kensai with the Auranote Premier; a lovely single box amp,
Cd player, radio etc..

A big thank-you to everyone who visted us at the Heathrow exhibiton! We
had many comments from visitors that we had one of the best sounds at
the show, especily from a speaker so small. A thank-you also to Naim Audio who lent us kit to drive the speakers and Advanced Acoustics for the use of some of their wall panels.
It was also good to meet Noel Keywood. There should be a review of the Kensai in Hi-Fi World out in the June issue (realeased 30th April).

AudioSmile will be exhibiting at the Hi-Fidelity Audio show at the Park Inn hotel in Heathrow. The show date is March 28th - 29th 2009, and we will be in Syndicate room 16.

new Kensai speaker has been written about in the latest issue of Hi-Fi
Choice ('Best of 2008'), in Malcolm Steward's Heathrow show report. Our
room was picked as one of eleven 'pearls' of the show. Along with a
paragraph of info about the Kensai, is a nice large photo.
just got back from the Audio & AV show, I am pleased to say that it
went very well indeed. We received many comments that the Kensai and
modified DEQ were delivering some of the best sounds at the show. This
was only made more impressive by the small size of the Kensai and our
use of a 15 year old Cyrus 3 amp and DAD7 transport as partnering
equipment! I would like to thank Robert Holt who helped all weekend,
purely from the kindness of his heart. A thanks also to Paul Messenger
and his wife, with whom we enjoyed a good drink and swapped some music
in the evening. Thanks to Nik Marina and Adam Smith from Hi-Fi World
for their support. Finally a big thank you to the lady on Sunday
afternoon who requested some Barry White and promptly got goose bumps!

Our bespoke made supertweeters have been very successful since they
were launched last year. Thank you to everyone who showed interest. We
are now making them with a leatherette body, which looks very smart
indeed. They are available in black or white as standard, and other
